CROSS BRONX #1 Now Free Online

The intriguing first issue of crime urban crime comic Cross Bronx is available for free online reading. The art style is somewhere between Batman The Animated Series and the Pander Brothers’ take on Grendel. The story hints at deep characterizations and a larger picture yet to be revealed. It shouldn’t be too much of a surprise to find out that the guy behind Girls Gone Wild is a jerk. It is surprising to find out just how much of a jerk he is: Joe Francis, the founder of the Girls Gone Wild empire, is humiliating me. He has my face pressed against the hood of a car, my arms twisted hard behind my back. He’s pushing himself against me, shouting: “This is what they did to me in Panama City!” It’s after 3 a.m. and we’re in a parking lot on the outskirts of Chicago.
