My friend kristen directed the bitchun kewl video for "Marrying You" (by Green & Root). Warning: folk music, renfaire clothes, and instances of utterly compelling and charming same-sex love and romance are heavily evidenced. Boo ya. In other news, two more Oregon counties have affirmed freedom to the right to marriage, regardless of sex.

It shouldn’t be too much of a surprise to find out that the guy behind Girls Gone Wild is a jerk. It is surprising to find out just how much of a jerk he is: Joe Francis, the founder of the Girls Gone Wild empire, is humiliating me. He has my face pressed against the hood of a car, my arms twisted hard behind my back. He’s pushing himself against me, shouting: “This is what they did to me in Panama City!” It’s after 3 a.m. and we’re in a parking lot on the outskirts of Chicago.
