broadcast pwnage

NBC reporter Olbermann unleashes a concise, elegant, and blisteringly accurate rant against the incompetency displayed by the US government in response to the recent hurricane disaster. 1. Did you see the news cast with VP Cheney? As he's talking about how the locals loved him so much, one guy goes by and says, "Go fuck yourself Cheney...Go fuck yourself". So funny on live TV too. What's great in Japan is they don't bleep the fuck part.

That is, I'm guessing, a retort to the time that Cheney told someone in the press "Go fuck yourself," right? The current crew brings such color and decor to the highest offices of America.

    What shitbags.

Electronic music is buzzing from the nightclub across the street, mixing easily with the laughter of the guys who are watching this, this me-pinned-and-helpless thing. Francis isn’t laughing. He has turned on me, and I don’t know why. He’s going on and on about Panama City Beach, the spring break spot in northern Florida where Bay County sheriff’s deputies arrested him three years ago on charges of racketeering, drug trafficking and promoting the sexua...

Tony diTerlizzi and classic D&D monsters

The sixth entry of his series on drawings of classic D&D monsters is up. He's one of my favorite fantasy artists. His work tends toward the charming and cozy, rather than others' focus on machismo or melodrama.
