What is the deal with the Official Heavy Metal website? I knew that Kevin Eastman had bought the rights to the Heavy Metal imprint, but I didn't know that he was using the site to show galleries or drunk incidents with his friends (see inset), pix of his wife (Heavy Metal: FAKK2 and Baberella's Julie Strain: Very Not Safe For Work), poop jokes, and generally turning the effort into a somewhat sad feeling personal site. d00d, there's got to be more than this...

How can a dead person have an agent, particulary where there are no specific works concerned other than a sense of character? It’s one thing to insist that Duck Soup is a work that should be protected (which any more simply means controlled by whomever has the most buX0rs), but shouldn’t personalities and such pass into the public domain as well?
